FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


Q1. Do you charge for delivery / staff

Delivery is included in the price of your hire upto 30 mins from Buckfastleigh.if your further away than 30mins there might be a delivery charge.If you would like staff at your event we do charge extra, please talk to us about your requirements.


Q2. How long can we have the castle?

You can have the castle for the whole day if you wish. Our latest collection time is around 10pm if you require the equipment any later then there will be an additional late night charge added.


Q3. Can you pick the castle up the next morning?

Yes we can, however we do charge extra for over night hires. Please talk to us about your requirements.


Q4. What happens if something goes wrong?

We are here to help and will return to the venue to fix any issues concerning the castle hire.


Q5. Do I have to pay deposit?

We do ask for a non refundable booking payment. Refunds might be issued down to our discretion,depending the reason for canceling your booking with good notice. Your booking is not secure until we have received your booking payment.


Q6. We have a party in a hall can I hire a Castle?

Yes you can, we would ask that you confirm the height of the ceiling to see which castles will be suitable.


Q7. I need a castle immediately can you deliver at short notice?

Yes we can, we are just a phone call away.


Q8. Can we have the Bouncy Castle for more than one day?

Yes certainly, We have special rates for longer hires please let us know your requirements.


Q9. Can we hire more than one castle?

Yes you can, we normally get asked to provide a castle for the kids and a castle for adults or with some extras


Q10. Do we need power?

Yes you will need to supply power. All of our blowers are 13amp normal house plugs. If you have no power supply please ask to hire one of our generators.


Q11. Can adults use all pieces of equipment?

All children's castles and equipment are to be used by children only. If damage is caused by adults using children's equipment the customer will be liable to pay fees for repairs or replacement. We do however have equipment suitable for adults, if you are unsure please ask us before booking.


Q12. Can I have face paints on the equipment?

Unfortunately we do not allow face paints to be used on any of our equipment. Face paints stain equipment. If face paints are used on equipment customers will automatically incur a cleaning or replacement fee.


Q13. Can I have a castle setup on hard standing?

No we do not setup equipment on hard standing. i.e. drive ways, patios, paths, streets, chippings. We also do not setup on decking or artificial grass. If we arrive at your event and are asked to setup on any of above we will not be able to setup and you will still be charged.


Q14. What happens if it is raining or windy?

We will not setup any equipment under any circumstances in wet, windy or thunder and lighting conditions. If the weather is bad on the day of your event we have the right to cancel your booking and we will refund your deposit.


Q15. What happens if it rains after you have delivered a castle?

We would advise you to turn off the castle as they have electric blowers and also castles get very slippery when wet.


Q16. What happens if the castle gets dirty or damaged during hire?

If the castle gets dirty i.e with mud-sweets/sticky things- chocolate -popcorn or drinks ect you will be charged by the hour to clean equipment at an hourly rate of £20. A castle to clean and dry normally takes 3-4hrs. If the castle/equipment gets damaged during the hire you will be responsible for damages. repair costs or replacement cost +loss of earnings
